To move ideas into action. Post decision-seeking proposals (policy changes, budgets, parameter updates, grants) for community review and a binding vote.

How is this different from other categories?

  • Not for casual discussion → use General.

  • Not for pure brainstorming → use Ideas.

  • Not for status updates → use Announcements.

What should topics here contain?
A complete proposal following the template below: concise summary, problem, solution, scope, budget (if any), milestones, risks, and measurable outcomes.


Posting guidelines

  1. Use clear prefixes in the title: [DRAFT], [FINAL], [AMENDMENT], [PARAMETER], [FUNDING].

  2. Share evidence. Link prior threads, docs, metrics, and alternatives considered.

  3. State costs and trade-offs. Be explicit about risks, maintenance, and who owns delivery.

  4. Set success metrics. Define how we’ll know this worked.

  5. Timeline. Provide milestones and reporting cadence.

  6. Disclosure. Declare conflicts of interest or affiliations.

  7. Voting readiness. Mark [FINAL] only after at least 5–7 days of public review (or your project’s standard).
