Phoenix Foundation: Appointment of an Emergency Supervisor

Most of Vini and Vegas messages is redesigning the process which already is defined in our bylaws, rather than discussing the underlying issues.

  1. Three supervisors and disclosures are fine if suitable candidates are available.
  2. Payment source is largely irrelevant. The Bylaws allow compensation through either the PF or Terra Governance. Just easier to execute & manage.
  3. The mandate should stay limited to the Adverse Event. A fully public report may not be possible where confidential material is involved, especially considering this including private discussions, which are confidential based on the Bylaws.
  4. Removal is not pre-decided. The Bylaws already define what an Emergency Supervisor can do if they conclude removal is necessary.
  5. A replacement is not required as part of the same process. We have approached candidates, but unsurprisingly they do not want to join during an active internal conflict.

Resolve the current issue first. Structural reform comes afterwards.
